Avondell Receives Silver Award in the 2009 Best of 50+ Housing Awards Competition

Avondell Retirement Community, managed by Brightview Senior Living, an owner and operator of sixteen Retirement and Assisted Living communities along with Hord Coplan Macht, Inc. (HCM), a full-service Baltimore-based architecture and landscape architecture firm, announced they were awarded the Silver Award in the 2009 Best of 50+ Housing Awards competition by the National Association of Home Builders’ 50+ Housing Council.
Award recipients were selected by the jury panel comprised of eight industry experts who specialize in the areas of active adult, service-enriched and marketing for the 50+ housing industry. The award was presented at the Best of 50+ Housing Award Gala in Philadelphia, PA during the Building for Boomers and Beyond: 50+ Housing Symposium.
