The Brightview Avondell campus offers both an Independent Living and an Assisted Living
option. Deciding which option is right for you depends on the services
desired and the amount of assistance needed with day-to-day activities.
Below are descriptions and a set of questions to help you make the
right choice.
Independent Living
The hassle-free
Independent Living lifestyle provides you with all the comforts and
services that make life easier and more fun. Is it right for you? Ask
yourself:
- Is your current house or property causing more hassles than happiness?
- Is difficulty driving at night or in heavy traffic preventing you from getting out?
- Would on-site services and conveniences give you more time and freedom to do the things you love?
If you answered “yes” to one or more of these questions, choose Independent Living.
Assisted Living
Assisted
living is the right option if some personal assistance and support is
needed to help maintain independence and enjoy a safe, social and
well-rounded day. Have you found that:
- Managing the timing and dosages of daily medications is a problem?
- Conditions such as arthritis or other physical limitations make it difficult to get dressed without assistance?
- Reduced strength or stability creates a safety issue when bathing?
If you answered “yes” to one or more of these questions, choose Assisted Living.
